2011 proved to be a very busy year for filming in Maple Ridge.  We were host to 50 film productions, including many T.V. series such as Fringe, Supernatural, Arctic Air and The Killing.  The feature films ‘The Company You Keep’ directed by and featuring Robert Redford, ‘Anciedad’ starring Eva Mendez, and ‘Foreverland’, based on a true story of a young man with cystic fibrosis and starring Juliette Lewis, also chose Maple Ridge as one of their film locations.  All together we had over 240 film ‘shoot’ days in 2011, compared to 191 ‘shoot’ days in 2010.  With the number of enquiries we’ve had for next year, 2012 looks like it will be off to a running start!
